There were 12 quotations in the exam but I chose this one, from Kate Chopin's The Awakening. It appears at the very end of the text and I think it's a great metaphor that explains Edna's feelings at the moment she walked into the sea....However, I'm not very good at handwriting essays in just 40 minutes...let's see how it ends...
